Build this gig on a different drive
- Get any other USB drive. Your spare, another DJ's, the venue's.
If you borrowed this drive, stop and check with the owner. The next step erases it completely. Someone else's library is not expendable, and they may not know you are about to format it.
- Confirm the disk name and size before you format. Your original drive is still in this computer, and the two sit next to each other in the same list. Formatting the wrong one is unrecoverable.
- Once you know the drive is empty or expendable, format it: FAT32 + MBR.
- Export this gig's playlists from rekordbox, or copy the music files you backed up.
- Verify: eject, replug, everything loads.
