The rules
- Two identical USBs, every gig. Same export on both. One in the bag, one in your pocket.
- FAT32 + MBR, always. Never exFAT, never GPT, never NTFS.
- Quality drives only. The $8 no-name stick is how this story starts. Approved drives →
- Eject properly, every time. From Rekordbox and from the player (USB STOP).
- Re-export after every library change. An old export is a corrupt export waiting to happen.
- Test on a player (or at least re-open in Rekordbox) before leaving home.
- Back up the Rekordbox library monthly to a different drive or cloud.
