Short version: the rescue flow needs nothing from you. No account, no login, no files uploaded. Some free features (Advanced and Custom checklists, the printable list, emailing yourself a copy) ask you to register with an email address and a name, plus an optional Instagram handle you can leave empty. That is almost all the personal data we ever hold; an optional account adds one thing, a synced copy of your checklists, and its delete button removes everything.
Cookies, analytics and your language
We use Google Analytics 4 to see which pages actually help and where people get stuck. It sets cookies, so we only load it after you accept on the banner. Decline and no analytics cookies are set, and the site works exactly the same. The full detail lives in the Cookie Policy.
To change your mind later, clear this site's data in your browser and the banner will ask again.
Your language. If your browser is set to a language we publish, the site opens in it, and if you pick one yourself we remember it so you are not asked again. That choice is a short code kept in your own browser. It is never sent to us, it is not used to identify you, and it is not analytics, so it works whether you accept the banner or decline it. We read the language your browser reports; we never look at your location or your IP address to decide.
If you register
Registration collects your email address, an artist name or first name so the site knows what to call you, and, only if you choose to share it, an artist Instagram handle. The email is used to unlock the registered features, to send you what you asked for (your checklist, the Emergency Card), and for the occasional note that might save a gig or help your career. We use double opt-in for the mailing list: you get a confirmation email first, and nothing is added to the list until you click it. When you submit the form we do store your details with Brevo straight away, marked as unconfirmed and outside every mailing list, so no campaign can ever reach them. Never click the link and you are never on the list; to have an unconfirmed record deleted, write to info@savemygig.com.
If you share your Instagram handle, we use it for exactly what the form says: so we can see the work you make. We also receive an internal notification email for each registration. The Instagram field is always optional, we promise no follow in return, and leaving it empty changes nothing.
This data is processed by Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, France), acting as our processor. We do not sell, rent or share it with anyone else. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe, and unsubscribing removes you. Your checklist itself (items, edits, ticks) is stored in your own browser on your own device, not on our servers, unless you create an account (next section).
If you create an account
An account is optional and adds one thing: your checklists follow you across devices. Sign-in is your email address, proven either by Google sign-in or by a link we email you. There are no passwords, so there is no password of yours for anyone to steal. If you use Google, we receive your email address from Google and nothing else; we never see your Google password or your Google data.
With an account, a copy of your checklists (the items, your edits, your ticks, your notes) is stored on our servers, hosted by Cloudflare, so your other devices can load it. The list on each device remains stored on that device either way.
Deleting your account is one button on the checklist page. It removes your account, every synced checklist, and your email address from our records, immediately, including the mailing-list contact. What stays is the copy of your list in your own browser, because that one belongs to your device, not to us.
If you send feedback
The feedback form sends us what you write, plus your name, email and Instagram if you choose to leave them. It arrives as an email in our inbox, delivered by Brevo, and we use it to read it, reply if you asked for a reply, and look at your work if you left your handle. Want a message of yours deleted? Write to info@savemygig.com and it is gone.
Your rights
If you are in the EU or UK, you can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to info@savemygig.com and we will action it. Our legal basis for the email list and the optional fields is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time; deleting your data removes your address, artist name and Instagram handle from our records. This applies worldwide, including under Brazil's LGPD: same address, same result.
What we never do
No selling of data. No tracking beyond the analytics described above. We never see your music, your files, or your drives.
