Repair the Device

Check your Collection first. Find this gig's playlist in the Collection on THIS computer and play a track from it. It plays, you can go on. If the playlist is not there, or the tracks will not play because the files live somewhere this machine cannot see, do NOT delete anything: there would be nothing to put back. Use the music you just backed up instead. A borrowed or venue computer with someone else's full library counts as not there.
Deleting the playlists on the device deletes this gig's cues and grids with them. The backup two steps back is a plain copy of the files, not a library you can put back. Your Collection on this computer still holds the cues and grids, and the drive gets them back when the fresh sync finishes. Between those two moments they exist in one place only.
- In rekordbox, on the device: delete this gig's playlists.
- Drag this gig's playlists from your collection onto the device again (fresh sync).
- Wait for the sync to finish completely.
- Eject with the eject button in rekordbox, never pull the drive.
Did the sync finish without errors?
