Get sound in the room without that player

Your files are fine. One box is broken. Everything below is about the room, not the drive.

• Put your drive in a working deck and keep the room going on one player. One deck cannot mix, so this buys time, not a set.
• Ask the promoter or the sound tech for the spare player. Most clubs have one in a flight case, and nobody offers it unless you ask.
• Ask the DJ after you to start early and give you their slot later.
• Tell whoever runs the room which deck is dead. It is the venue's box, not your problem to fix, and they cannot swap what they do not know about.
