- This is the venue's signal chain now, not your gear.
- Tell them exactly: "Mixer master is up, master meters are moving. Nothing after the booth output."
- While they work: keep your set cued and ready to go.
If you are the tech reading this: the DJ has already been through channel, crossfader assign, input select, trim, master level, the mixer's send and return, and the output cables at the mixer end. The mixer is passing signal.
