Take It Off the Network
Last isolation
Isolate it from the booth
When more than one player misbehaves at once, the LINK network is a suspect. A player that freezes on the network can run fine standalone.
- Look at the other decks first. If they are all behaving, this is one broken player and the network is not your problem. Skip this screen: answer NO below.
- Never pull a LINK cable while any deck is playing off a drive that lives in another player. The manual is explicit: take the storage device out of the network first, then the cable.
- Is a deck reading off the frozen player's own USB? Another deck can be reading this player's drive over LINK, so it goes quiet the moment you unplug. Move it onto its own drive before you touch anything.
- Only then: unplug the LINK cable from the frozen player only. Leave the rest of the booth alone.
- Restart it once more, standalone, and play from its own USB port.
