PLAYdifferently
PLAYdifferently was started by Richie Hawtin with Andy Rigby-Jones, who designed the Xone series at Allen & Heath, and its mixers are built in the UK with Allen & Heath as manufacturing partner. The MODEL 1, unveiled in 2016, set out the idea of the DJ mixer as an instrument: all-analogue, no crossfader, no digital audio, a sculpting EQ in place of a three band one, built for a set assembled from many sources.

Built in the UK. Allen & Heath, in Cornwall, England, handle manufacturing and distribution, and PLAYdifferently remains a separate brand rather than a sub-brand of theirs.
Shops usually list these as "Allen & Heath PLAYdifferently MODEL 1", which is a retailer convention rather than the manufacturer's own naming. PLAYdifferently call the products MODEL 1 and MODEL 1.4.
Whether you can still buy one
No longer available new from mainstream retailers. Every shop checked lists both mixers as gone, while PLAYdifferently still publish the product page and the manual for each with no end-of-life notice of any kind.
PLAYdifferently have published no end-of-life statement for either mixer, so this page does not say the manufacturer has discontinued them. It says what can be shown: they cannot be bought new from the retailers checked. A mixer earns a page here by how likely you are to meet one in a booth, not by whether a shop still stocks it.
