Get the music onto another deck first

The frozen player keeps playing for now. The restart happens only when it is no longer carrying the room.

Leave the frozen player completely alone. No buttons, no USB, no power.
Get the next track ready on another player, from anything except the frozen one: that player's own drive, a spare of yours, or a drive in a third player over PRO DJ LINK.
Not the drive sitting in the frozen player. That unit is the one you are about to power off, and the room would go with it.
Take over in the mix from the working deck.
