Serato
Serato is a New Zealand software company whose Scratch Live, launched in 2004 with RANE, brought timecode vinyl control to a large share of the professional DJ world. Its successor, Serato DJ Pro, is the software a great many controllers, battle mixers and club mixers are built to run with, and on much of that gear it is unlocked by the hardware itself.
Software
Serato hardware unlocks are a property of the BOX, not of the software, so the mixers and controllers that unlock Serato live on their own manufacturers’ hubs rather than here.
